BMW R 1200 LC engine timing tools

Timing system procedures require the crankshaft, camshafts and related components to be correctly positioned during inspection and adjustment.

The kit includes dedicated tools for camshaft alignment and engine TDC/BDC positioning, assisting with timing inspection and adjustment procedures.

It also includes a dedicated tool for working with the timing chain tensioner, providing several of the tools required during different stages of engine timing work.

Clutch workshop tools

In addition to the engine timing tools, this kit includes dedicated equipment for BMW R 1200 LC clutch work.

The set includes an nOficial OEM clutch locking tool and a tool intended to assist with work involving the clutch / gearbox cover, expanding the kit beyond timing-system procedures.

Professional BMW R 1200 LC boxer engine tool kit

This set is specifically intended for compatible liquid-cooled BMW R 1200 LC boxer engines.

It should not be confused with workshop tools for previous-generation air/oil-cooled BMW R 1200 engines, as the engine design and applicable workshop procedures differ.

Combining these tools into one package provides a practical solution for engine timing, camshaft alignment, timing chain tensioner and clutch procedures without sourcing each tool individually.
